Mumbai's temperature expected to drop further

Earlier this week, Mumbaikars faced a sudden spike in temperature on Sunday, January 5. The maximum temperature rose to 32 degrees Celsius, going as much as 5.5 degrees as compared to the temperature recorded on Saturday, January 4, i.e. 26.5 degrees.

According to Mumbai Weather, the temperature is expected to drop more from Wednesday, Jan 8 at 15-degree celsius. 

Earlier this week, Mumbaikars faced a sudden spike in temperature on Sunday, January 5. The maximum temperature rose to 32 degrees Celsius, going as much as 5.5 degrees as compared to the temperature recorded on Saturday, January 4, i.e. 26.5 degrees.

Increase in temperatures in Mumbai today but temperatures will drop again from Wednesday. Wednesday could also be bit cloudy and Thursday-Friday min temp could drop to 15C.

Weather experts say that the sudden climate change is being attributed to a change in wind pattern. On Sunday, the Colaba observatory registered a maximum temperature of 30.4 degree Celsius, which was 0.1 degree Celsius above normal, whereas the Santacruz observatory recorded 32 degrees Celsius, i.e. one degree above normal.

Moreover, Mumbai's Air Quality Index (AQI) has also witnessed a steady dip. On January 1 the air quality of the city was better than that recorded in the last four years, but after a day of respite, it has again gone back to being bad. On January 2, The air quality in Mumbai was recorded at 247. It was recorded 220 on January 7.
