At a program held in Navi Mumbai on Thursday, September 25 CIDCO holders protested before the Chief Minister, declaring that CIDCO should reduce the prices of houses. At that time, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis assured that a meeting would be held in the next 15 days to find a solution to this issue. MNS spokesperson Gajanan Kale has shared the video of the protest by CIDCO holders on his X account.

The prices of the houses in the 26,000 houses that CIDCO has drawn are very expensive. CIDCO holders say that the prices of these houses should be reduced. CIDCO holders have also staged several protests in this regard. For the past few months, MNS had been fighting alongside CIDCO lottery holders. MNS spokesperson and Navi Mumbai city president Gajanan Kale played an important role in this.

A few months ago, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had also avoided attending the meeting despite promising to meet three times. Discontent has spread among CIDCO lottery holders as the state government or CIDCO has yet to reduce house prices even after so many months.

A gathering of Mathadi workers was organized at the auction house, Onion Potato Market, on the occasion of the 92nd birth anniversary of Annasaheb Patil, the Maratha Revolutionary, the revered idol of Mathadi workers. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was present as the chief guest at this event. At this time, CIDCO lottery holders held a protest with posters in their hands. The poster read, "Devabhau, accept our demands," and "CIDCO, reduce the prices of houses." The CIDCO owners also loudly shouted slogans in support of these demands.

At this time, everyone's attention was drawn to these CIDCO holders. The police administration was trying to calm these CIDCO holders. However, even then, the CIDCO holders did not reduce their sloganeering. Finally, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, in his speech, assured CIDCO holders that a meeting would be held within the next fifteen days to resolve the issue of CIDCO house prices.
