Due to urgent repair work by the STEM authority, the water supply from STEM to Thane Municipal Corporation will be shut from Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 9:00 AM to Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 9:00 AM. During this period, water supply will be disrupted for around 12 hours in some parts of Thane.
To manage the situation, the Thane Municipal Corporation has planned to maintain a once-a-day water supply in phases using its own water resources. As per the schedule, areas such as Ghodbunder Road, Patlipada, Pawar Nagar, Kothari Compound, Azad Nagar, Dongripada, Waghbil, Anand Nagar, Kasarvadavli, and Owla will have no water supply from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, June 18. Additionally, areas like Samata Nagar, Rutu Park, Siddheshwar, Eternity, Johnson, Jail, Saket, Uthalsar, Retibandar, and parts of Kalwa and Mumbra will face a water cut from 9:00 PM on June 18 to 9:00 AM on June 19.

It may take 1 to 2 days for the water pressure to normalize after the repair work. Citizens are requested to store sufficient water in advance and avoid wastage, as urged by the Thane Municipal Corporation.
