Ghatkopar Suicide Case: Mystery Surrounds Death of Couple Found in Bathroom

A couple was found dead in their Ghatkopar apartment bathroom, leaving the authorities puzzled about the cause of death. The couple was identified as Deepak Shah, aged 45, and Tina Shah, aged 39. According to reports, the Pant Nagar police received a call from Kukreja Palace on Wednesday at 12:15 pm reporting the incident.

Deepak Shah's mother Kantaben and his brother-in-law entered the apartment with extra keys and discovered the couple's dead bodies. They were found lying naked on their right sides in the bathroom. The maid of the couple alerted Kantaben when she found no response from the couple when she rang the doorbell.

The police have formed five teams to investigate the six-hour time period when the couple was missing. However, they are perplexed about the six-hour gap as there are no call record information or tower positions for this time frame. The doctors are uncertain about the cause of death since the post-mortem reports produced conflicting results. The forensic department at Sion Hospital listed five potential causes of death, including heart attack, aspiration of vomitus, vasovagal shock, and cardiac arrhythmia after taking Viagra.

The Shahs left for Juhu on Monday night for the Holi Puja and returned home around 8.30 pm after dinner. The next day, they went out with friends and played Holi from 11 am to 2 pm. After lunch, they left on their bike around 3 pm, and one of their friends went their own way. The watchman did not observe them entering the building until 9.30 pm.

The authorities are investigating the couple's last six hours before their death. The police are interviewing family members, friends, and acquaintances to gather more evidence. They are also analysing the CCTV footage of the building and the surrounding areas to find any possible leads.

Meanwhile, the family members of the couple are in shock and are cooperating with the authorities to find out the truth behind this unfortunate incident. The couple's relatives and friends have expressed their disbelief over the incident and remembered the Shahs as a happy and loving couple.
