A new reason has emerged for the murder of Ashwini Gaikwad and her seven-year-old son Adiraj, both residents of Rambaug area of Kalyan. The deceased woman's brother has alleged that her husband Deepak Gaikwad committed the murder because of his love affair with the woman in the office and because of the looming loans.


Last Friday, Deepak Gaikwad, a resident of Rambaug area in Kalyan, killed his wife Ashwini Gaikwad (32) and son Adiraj (7) in their residential house. In this case, the police registered a case against Deepak Gaikwad and arrested him from Sambhajinagar. He is now in police custody. The deceased woman's brother Vikesh More (30) has filed a complaint in the police station regarding this murder. Seven years ago, accused Deepak was employed in Pune. He left his job there. He had started investing in the stock market.

Having knowledge in finance, he founded an investment company called Nidhi Research Firm. Deepak was investing in this company by luring people with higher interest. Deepak had started a children's toy shop in Rambaug Galli No. 4. Due to all these transactions, Deepak was in debt. Due to financial hardship, he used to ask his wife Ashwini to bring money from her family. 


So far, INR 5 lakh was paid to him, still he used to beat her, alleged deceased woman’s brother. While these cases were going on, Deepak had an affair with a woman in his office. Sister Ashwini understood this matter six months ago. She had asked her husband Deepak to sever relations with the woman. On the contrary, Vikesh More has said in the complaint that Deepak was beating his wife as his wife interfered in his matter. He complained that all this happened due to indebtedness and a love affair with an office lady.
