A man named Anand Singh raped a married woman under the pretxt of giving her work in the famous ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. This incident took place at Nalasopara. A case has been registered at Tulinj Police Station.
Accused Anand Singh lives in Nalasopara. I am well known in the cinema and serial world. He invited the married woman to his house by lying to her and then raped her. This incident took place on May 20. When the married woman went to Anand Singh's house, and got to know his intention, she protested what was happening, but Anand Singh beat her and raped her. He also threatened to kill her not to tell this to anyone.

After all this, the victim reached the police station. She narrated the incident to the police. A case under section 376, 323, 504 and 506 was registered against the accused. Accused was arrested by the police. Anand Singh, who claimed to work for an artist and casting director, has been arrested, said Rohini Doke of Tulinj police station. Anand Singh and this woman were introduced through a common friend. “I will get you a job in the comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show but you have to give an audition. You come to my house and give an audition. If you pass in that, I will show your audition to the casting director, then they will select you in the Kapil Sharma Show”, said the accused. He called her home on that pretext. On Tuesday, May 20, he called her to Ganesh Apartment in Nalasopara and raped her.
