Mumbai division of Central Railway (CR)’s RPF conducted a special drive in coordination with night court on November 29 at Kalyan, Titwala, Badlapur, Panvel, Thane, Mumbra, Diva & Dombivli stations.
A total of 311 individuals prosecuted in Night Court of Sectional Railway Magistrate Kalyan through video conferencing.
During this drive, a fine of INR 46,950 was imposed on several offenders.
➡️197 persons booked under section 155 Indian Railway Act for unauthorised entry into compartment reserved
➡️99 person booked for Trespassing inside Railway Premises under Section 147
➡️13 persons booked for Hawking & Begging inside Railway Premises under Section 144
➡️01 Persons booked for Disobedience of the law under Section 159
➡️01 Person booked for Drinking & creating nuisance inside Railway Premises under Section 145
These actions aims to deter passengers from violating rules during peak hours, ultimately enhancing safety within railway system.
