A police complaint of rape has been lodged against veteran Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty's son and actor Mimoh. Mimoh is also known as Mahaakshay and a woman has accused him of raping her. The complaint has been filed at Oshiwara police station on Saturday.
Senior Police Inspector Dayanand H Bangar confirmed the same to news agency IANS, but declined to elaborate. He said, "We have lodged the complaint and are investigating the matter,"
In the same complainant, Mimoh's mother (Mithun's wife) and former actress Yogeeta Bali has been named as co-accused.
Mimoh made his Bollywood debut in 2008 with the movie with Jimmy. He later went on to be part of movies such as "Haunted 3D", "Loot", "Enemmy", and "Ishqedarriyaana". In 2018, he tied the knot with actress Madalasa Sharma.
According to the complaint, Mimoh was in a relationship with that woman since 2015 and he had promised to marry but later backed out. In her allegations, the woman has shared that she was called by Mimoh to his home and he spiked her drink, before forcibly making physical relations with her. Furthermore, she alleged that she was
She alleged that when she became pregnant, Mimoh forced her to abort and when she did not comply, he forcibly gave her some pills that terminated the pregnancy. In addition to this, Mimoh's mother threatened her when she was to lodge a police complaint.
The matter is now being investigated.
