The Second Merit List for First Year Junior College (FYJC) was released on July 22. Students can check the list at the official website- FYJC admission and can further confirm the admission until July 25.

In Mumbai colleges, 37,071 seats are available for Arts, 1,74,046 seats for Commerce, 1,02,409 seats for Science and 5,660 seats are available for vocational courses. The third merit list will be declared on August 1. Over 1.85 lakh students had applied for admission with 1.34 lakh students seeking admission in the 1st list. However, only 61,645 have confirmed their admission.
With a decrease in the average percentage scored by the SSC students due to the cancellation of 20 marks objective, Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray along with Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis had ensured that the number of seats in colleges increases as compared to last year.
