The Maharashtra Youth Congress intensified its protest against the state government over the alleged Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) paper leak, staging demonstrations for the third consecutive day and demanding the resignation of School Education Minister Dada Bhuse.

Led by Maharashtra Youth Congress president Shivraj More, party workers protested outside the Vidhan Bhavan on Wednesday, raising slogans against the BJP-led Mahayuti government and accusing it of failing to ensure fair and transparent recruitment examinations.

The protest follows the cancellation of the TET examination after the question paper was allegedly leaked in Thane a day before the test was scheduled. The Congress claimed the incident had adversely affected lakhs of aspirants and alleged that the state government had failed to conduct examinations securely.

"The BJP-led government is incapable of conducting even a single examination without controversy. Repeated paper leaks are causing immense hardship to honest students," the Youth Congress said.

The party also linked the incident to recent controversies over the alleged NEET paper leak, saying repeated examination irregularities had eroded students' trust in the system.

The Congress has stepped up its agitation over the issue in recent days. On Tuesday night, members of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI), led by Sagar Salunkhe, allegedly stopped Bhuse's vehicle and waved black flags in protest. Earlier, Mumbai Youth Congress president Zeenat Shabreen led a demonstration outside the minister's official residence.

The Youth Congress warned that its agitation would continue until Bhuse resigns as education minister.
