Mumbaikars finally gets a sigh of relief from the scorching heat and humidity as the minimum temperature has dropped below 20 degrees Celsius this morning, Wednesday, December 21. However, the temperatures during the day continues to remain between 32-33 degrees Celsius.

According to IMD's Santacruz observatory, Mumbai recorded minimum temperature of 19.6 degrees Celsius, while the Colaba observatory showed 23 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature recorded was 33.7 and 33 degrees Celsius respectively.

Moreover, a day earlier, December 20, Mumbai woke up to a cooler climate after nearly two weeks. Besides, day temperatures recorded by Mumbai Regional Met Centre were around 32 and 33 degrees Celsius respectively for two days. i.e Tuesday, December 20 and Wednesday, December 21.

For two days in a row last week, Mumbai had recorded high day temperatures of above 35 degrees Celsius.
