Satya Paul hosted a unique exhibit showcasing Folklure- their Autumn Winter 19 exclusive collection, on 7th August 2019, Wednesday at the Gallery Maskara Space, Mumbai.
The collection was showcased in the presence of the stunning actress Sobhita Dhulipala and fashion connoisseur Bandana Tewari which was accompanied with a conversation on the topic - Contemporary interpretation of Indian craft in Fashion.
The event witnessed crème de la crème of the fashion industry and society elites from celebrity stylist like Ekta Rajani to fashion bloggers Karishma Samat, Settle Subtle, The Image Code and Anushka Mulchandani hosted by Deepika Gehani, Vice President; Marketing, PR and Design, Reliance Brands Ltd.
The collection draws inspiration from Indian's traditional art forms like Madhubani and Kalamkari appealing to art and appealing to artists and fashion enthusiasts alike through an enthralling display of the collection.
For the first time ever, Satya Paul has launched its limited-edition hand-painted range inspired by the bold colours and graphic strokes of these three unique folk styles. Each print is unique and rare. The collection glorifies the traditional Indian heritage reflecting luxury and style in each of its designs. For this new collection, Satya Paul had a distinctive outlook with colors, prints, and fabrics to define Folklure '19 for both men and women.
Dressed in the Manthan sari from the AW19 collection of Satya Paul, Sobhita Dhulipala commented, “I have always been a big fan of saris.
