The Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare suggested that the Public Works Department should prepare a comprehensive plan for the proposed 100-bed women's hospital at Mauje Bhubaneswar in Roha (district Raigarh).


Minister Tatkare was talking in the review meeting held in the ministry regarding the construction of the proposed women's hospital in Bhubaneswar Roha. Raigarh district surgeon Dr. Ambadas Devmane, Deputy Engineer of Public Works Department Roha, Vijay Bagul, Vastu Visharad appointed by the Public Works Department were present.

Minister Aditi Tatkare said that the Public Works Department has acquired five acres of land for this hospital. The proposed women's hospital should be equipped with state-of-the-art service facilities. While planning for this, it should be comprehensive. The Public Works Department, Mahad should obtain the cost estimate immediately, so that the proposal can be submitted to the Government within the stipulated time.


The main building of the women's hospital and its supporting facilities should be studied in detail. Careful steps should be taken by experts in this regard. A proposal will be submitted to the government for the necessary funds for this.
