State Home minister Anil Deshmukh is being dragged into one controversy after another. Earlier in the day, he was being questioned on how during this lockdown Wadhwans were given the permission to travel from Khandala to Mahabaleshwar with their family.

Now Anand Kulkarni, chairman of Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC), has posted on his Facebook and said that he will like to 'expose the good deeds’ of Anil Deshmukh and Ganesh Naik, (who has recently switched party from NCP to BJP). However, he said that he would like to make this revelation only after the country has managed to deal with coronavirus.

On Friday morning, Anand Kulkarni took to his Facebook and made multiple posts aimed at the home minister. In his sarcasm-dipped post-Kulkarani emphasised that Anil Deshmukh was 'clean as a whistle' and that his integrity was "of the highest order".

He also mentioned that he has been making a note of Deshmukh’s noble activities of the last 25 years and will be looking at making them all public at the time that he feels fit.

Coming over to Naik, MERC chief revealed an incident that took place in 2014. As per Kulkarni, the BJP leader had summoned IAS officer Shailesh Sharma to a Tony hotel in Colaba in Mumbai and ‘Imbibed softly and affectionately the virtues of adhering to rules, acts and laws’. In addition to this, Kulkarni claims that he in possession of detailed documentation of Naik’s land dealings in City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO).

In his post, Kulkarni has also mentioned that had worked with Anil Deshmukh in 2001 when they were both working in the Excise Department.

After seeing his posts, many have been wondering what could be the trigger point for Anil to make the posts and why has he resorted to putting only parts of the information.
