It’s time to brush off the monsoon greys and ring in the vibrant yellows of the Amalfi Lemon!! The fourth edition of Lemon Festa at CinCin is all set to transport you to Amalfi, the Italian riviera, with their specially curated lemon infused menu inspired by the vibrant chatter in a bistro at the edge of an Italian piazza. Think citrus trees, the colours of Italy, and a Mediterranean summer breeze!
An ode to Italy’s favourite ingredients, Resident Chef, Dayamani Singh has curated this special menu with locally sourced homegrown ingredients, and Amalfi Lemons as the star of this renaissance.
Starting the culinary trail with Insalata Spinaci (a zesty salad with baby spinach, pine nuts, fresh red cherries, figs, and belper knolle cheese, strung together with lemon dressing), Carpaccio (a thinly sliced fish made with olive oil and lemon zest, and served with quinoa crisps, parmigiano reggiano cheese all on a bed of roquette leaves) and Pollo al Limone (a crispy chicken with lemon zest and Béarnaise Sauce).
Moving on to Mezzelune (half-moon shaped pasta from Northern Italy, filled with green peas, ricotta cheese, parmigiano reggiano and drizzled with a light lemon butter sauce), Chitarra Gamberi e Limone (spaghetti pasta, prawns, pistachio and lemon sauce) and Dentice (a red snapper filet, baked with white wine, lemon butter, caper and pine nuts).
No Italian journey is complete without Pizza and you can’t go wrong with CinCin’s signature soft and fluffy pizza, a unique mix of flavors with ricotta cream, gorgonzola, butternut squash, and lemon zest.
Concluding the Lemon Festa on a sweet note, the Instagram-worthy Sorbetto Di Limone, is a creamy sorbet served in a whole Amalfi Lemon along with Crostata Al Limone, a creamy, sweet, and tangy lemon curd layered on a short pastry base.
The cocktail menu includes specials made using Limoncello, the famed zesty Italian liquor- Lavender & Lemon ( Vodka, Homemade Lavender Liqueur, Limoncello, Simple Syrup), Messicano (Reposado Tequila, Homemade Amaretto Liqueur, Limoncello), Limoncello Highball (Beefeater London Dry Gin, Limoncello, Agave Syrup), Limoncello Negroni (Monkey 47 Gin, Limoncello, Homemade Bitters), A Day in Florence (Martel VS Cognac, Limoncello, Martini Rosso, Bitters) and Tuscan Summer (Ballentine’s Bourbon Finish Whisky, Limoncello, Fresh Lime Juice, Apricot Jam, Fresh Sage Leaves).
