Born on 12th March 1984 she is one of the finest Indian playback singers, the Indian Film Industry has ever got. Her career began when she participated in a singing reality show and won the title too. She got her first break in the film DEVDAS directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for which she received Film fare Award for the 'best female playback' singer and the Film fare 'RD Burman Award for New Music Talent'. She has lent her beautiful voice in more than 300 films and has received four National film awards and numerous other awards.
She is the most sought after in Films & the concert circuit the world over.
