Leader of Opposition Vijay Wadettiwar who stated that senior IPS officer Hemant Karkare was not killed by terrorist Ajmal Kasab but was killed by RSS-linked cop, is speaking the language of Pakistan. Uddhav Thackeray, who is in alliance with the Congress, is still silent on the issue. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday asked whether Thackeray agreed with Wadettiwar's allegations.
Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray had appreciated the role played by Adv Ujjwal Nikam in punishing the accused in the Mumbai attack. However, Fadnavis criticised that Thackeray has remained silent due to the helplessness of votes while Wadettiwar is accusing Nikam.
Palghar Shiv Sena MP Rajendra Gavit joined the BJP on Tuesday in the presence of Fadnavis and state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule. This time, in the press conference, Fadnavis criticised Thackeray and Congress. While the Congress leader is making Pakistani statements, Thackeray is silent.
Fadnavis clarified that while the terrorist attack on Mumbai was a conspiracy of Pakistan and it was proved in the court that Karkare's death was due to a bullet from Ajmal Kasab's machine gun, Wadettiwar is speaking the language of Pakistan.
