After the release of senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Chhagan Bhujbal, there were speculations about him leaving NCP followed by the meeting of his son with Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray.

Speaking at NCP’s foundation day in Pune, Bhujbal nullified all the speculations. While clarifying, Bhujbal said that he will remain in the party and will continue to work for it. Moreover, there were rumours about Bhujbal opposing the demand for reservation pressed by the Maratha community. Reacting to this on Sunday, he said that he will always support this demand.
