Maharashtra Mandal in Siddharth Nagar Goregaon (west) is organising Ganesha festival from past 69 years. The size , shape & the look of the idol has remained same till date. The 2.5ft Ganesha idol seems levitating in the air. The decoration done is very elegant, pillars are set up in the pandal, lights of different shades are falling in every nook & corner. Every year mandal supports needy students in their education by providing them with adequate facilities such as notebooks, bags, etc.
