According to latest report, it has come to light that fire incidents were recorded at 26 different locations in Mumbai due to firecrackers that were busted on the occasion of Diwali yesterday, October 24. 

In a most recent incident, a level 2 fire broke out at a godown on Mumbai's Sakinaka - Khairani road. 8 fire tenders present on the spot to control the fire. No casualties reported yet.

Meanwhile, as many as five incidents of fire were reported at different locations in Thane, due to the bursting of firecrackers, said Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC). No injuries were reported in the incident.

Mumbai Fire Brigade, in an official statement, mentioned that no one was injured in these incidents. Besides, in the last 3 days, a total of 70 fire calls came to the fire brigade.

A fire broke out in a house in a building in Goregaon East in Mumbai. A team of the fire brigade was deployed on the spot. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. No casualty has been reported.

Moreover, on the same day, across Maharashtra several incidents of fire were also reported.

In another fire incident, in the Vasai area of the Palghar district, a fire broke out in a footwear godown. Following this, fire tenders on the spot. According to the Vasai fire department, no casualties were reported.

At least 15 incidents of fire due to firecrackers were reported in Pune city on the occasion of Diwali. In one incident an entire house of gutted, a fire official said. No one was injured in the blaze which erupted at the house, the official from the Pune Municipal Corporation`s fire department said
