Mumbai Local News: 3-Days Block On WR For Metro 9 Work Between Mira Road-Bhayandar Stations - List of Trains Affected Here

Western Railway (WR) will undertake a major block o­n all lines between Mira Road and Bhayander stations in connection with the work of launching girders for Metro Line 9. o­n the intervening night of 07th / 08th June, 2025 (Saturday/Sunday), a block of 1.45 hrs will be undertaken from 01:30 hrs to 3:15 hrs. Similarly, o­n the intervening night of 08th / 09th June, 2025 (Sunday/Monday) & 09th / 10th June, 2025 (Monday/Tuesday), a block of 1.15 hrs will be undertaken from 01:45 hrs to 3:00 hrs.

According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Vineet Abhishek, during the execution of work a few suburban services will be affected while some will remain cancelled. Details of the same are as below: -

·The last local train for Virar from Churchgate will depart at 23:58 hrs.

·The last local train for Bhayander from Churchgate will depart at 23:38 hrs.

·The last local train for Churchgate from Virar will depart at 00:05 hrs

Repercussions o­n Suburban Services o­n 08th / 09th June, 2025 (Sunday / Monday)

·The last local train for Virar from Churchgate will depart at 00:20 hrs.

·The last local train for Churchgate from Virar will depart at 00:05 hrs

Repercussions o­n Suburban Services o­n 09th / 10th June, 2025 (Monday / Tuesday)

·The last local train for Virar from Churchgate will depart at 00:20 hrs.

·The last local train for Churchgate from Virar will depart at 00:05 hrs

Day Block on Sunday, June 8:

Additionally, to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of five hours will be taken o­n UP and Down slow lines from 10:35 hrs to 15:35 hrs between Churchgate and Mumbai Central Station o­n Sunday, i.e. 08^thJune, 2025.

According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of WR, Vineet Abhishek, during the block period, all Slow line trains will be run o­n fast lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central station.

Due to the block some UP and Down local trains will remain cancelled and some Churchgate bound trains will be short terminated/reversed from Bandra/Dadar.
