The Western Railway (WR) has decided to run Mumbai local train services round the clock on the occasion of New Year's celebration for the convenience of commuters. For this, additional trains have been announced on the intervening night on December 31/January 1.
To clear extra rush of passengers on the occasion of new year, Western Railway will run eight special local trains during the intervening night of December 31, 2023/January 1, 2024, including four from Churchgate to Virar and four from Virar to Churchgate.
