The traffic jam on Dahisar toll plaza is a major issue for people entering and departing Mumbai from the toll plaza. People get stuck during the morning and evening peak hours, and sometimes it takes them nearly 20-30 minutes while covering a distance of fewer than 50 meters.
In September, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had planned to construct an additional bypass road at Dahisar Check Naka to ensure smooth traffic movement in the area.
