Parel - Bamboo traders in the city are troubling residents on the Buddha Mandir road in Parel east for the past many months. Stacked up bamboos on the footpath are becoming an eyesore as well as an impediment, rue residents.
Resident Komal Pandare told Mumbai Live," We have reported the problem to BMC, but no action whatsoever have been taken from the corporation's end." When contacted, assistant municipal commissioner Vishwas Mote told Mumbai Live, "Those utilising the footpath illegally will face the music."
