With regards to forts, the BMC has written a letter to the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for permissions to start the restoration work in the forts. After receiving a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from ASI, the work will begin soon and is expected to be completed by the Financial Year (FY) 2021-2022. Moreover, there are plans for revamping Bandra and Worli forts with decorative illumination and energy-efficient LED luminaires that will be installed inside the Worli fort. These lights can be viewed from the Bandra Worli Sea Link.

He always supported initiatives like Bhamla Foundation's Mangrove Walk, Malhar Kalambe's Beach Please and the beach clean-ups by Afroz Shah at Daana Paani beach.

BMC has further proposed to start eco-tourism activities around water supply reservoirs like Tansa, Vaitarna, Modak Sagar dam, where hospitality/travel partners can be invited to upgrade, maintain and manage BMC guest houses.
