Mumbai-based BJP President and MLA Ashish Shelar, has again jumped into the administration for cleaning the nullahs of the town, demanding that the corruption being adopted in the administration of the of their cleaning should now be taken too seriously. On Friday, Shelar inspected all the drains in the eastern part of Bandra, Khar and Santacruz and ordered to keep a watch where all the garbage was being dumped. Apart from this, Shelar said that the dumping grounds will also be inspected.
As soon as the work of cleaning the nullahs is started, it will be administered by the BJP, which insists on transparent administration in the municipal corporation. On Friday, the Mumbai BJP President and MLA Ashish Shelar reviewed the Green Street Nullah in Khar, Bandra, Gazardhband in Juhu and SNDT, Main Aviation, North Avenue, South Avenue. He inspected the different dumping areas on the grounds of that whether the garbage is dumped on a private dumping ground, where is the ground, what is the level of filth and so on. Ashish Shelar said that he would inspect the other places so as to get a clarity on the administration of cleaning of the drainage system in the city.
Moreover, as regards the weight of the mud, the contractor gave the names of two weightlifting companies of Bharat Wet Bridge and Mira Bhinder Weith Bridge in Mira Bhaindar. Accordingly, the contractor asked to contact the phone with both the weight, but no contact was made. The contractor said that the mud is being thrown on private dumping ground near Chenna village in Versova. So he instructed the authorities to look into the matter with the municipal administration. Along with this, corporator Alka Kerkar and H West division's Sharad Khand were present.
