Parel - Punjab National Bank and the Post department has started special counters at KEM hospital, Parel since 15 November. PNB facility is available at gate no 2 while postal service is available in the cafeteria near Kamgar library. Patients, their relatives and hospital staff can exchange their old currency notes at these counters after fulfiling the formalities . BMC has allocated space for these counters free of charge. If banks and Post department support, such counters can be started in other BMC hospitals as well.
