RPF Mumbai Division has launched a special operation against people who are violating railway rules. RPF Mumbai Division conducted special operations in coordination with Night Courts at Kalyan, Titwala, Badlapur, Panvel, Thane, Mumbra, Diva and Dombivali on November 29.

- Case registered against 197 persons under section 155 of Indian Railways Act for unauthorised entry into reserved compartment
- Case registered against 99 people for encroachment inside railway premises under section 147
- A case was registered against 13 persons under section 144 for hawking and begging inside the railway premises
- 1 person booked for disobedience to law under section 159
- 1 person booked under section 145 for drinking alcohol and creating nuisance inside railway premises
- A total of 311 persons were tried in the night court of Honourable Sectional Railway Magistrate Kalyan through video conferencing
- Fine of Rs.46,950/- imposed
These actions are aimed at preventing passengers from violating rules during rush hours, ultimately enhancing safety within the railway system.
