On Sunday, February 6 morning, Apeksha Mirani (22) miraculously escaped after her car crashed down from the second floor of a podium parking area in a Malad building, when she was sitting inside, reports stated. 

According to accounts, the police have elaborated on how Mirani was attempting to park her vehicle when the speed suddenly increased. Owing to the impact, the car was mangled. 

Podium parking is parking accumulated between buildings in an arrangement of a podium, car owners have the opportunity to utilize the common or private open spaces over it.

Based on narratives, the mishap transpired at nearly 7.35 am on Sunday at Zakaria Road's Jensons building. The car reportedly landed upside down between another SUV and a location where the guard stood. 

After the incident transpired, her father apprised the police. The police then elucidated on how Mirani did not suffer any major injuries, claimed accounts. 

In a similar ghastly incident, on Monday, January 24, night, seven students of a medical college that included BJP MLA Vijay Rahangdale's son, succumbed after their car fell from a bridge in Maharashtra's Wardha near Selsura, stated the police, reports mentioned. 

According to accounts, all the seven were first-year students of the Sawangi Medical College and had gone for a late-night drive. It has been alleged that the driver lost control of the motor that caused it to fall almost 40 feet off a bridge, remarked local police officials.
