The Conference will address various issues faced by consumers. Prior to the enactment of the RERA, aggrieved home-buyers had the option of either approaching the Civil Courts or the Consumer Fora. However, with the enactment of the new legislation, not only does it seek to protect the home-buyers but also boosts investment in the real estate industry.

The Real Estate Act makes it compulsory for all the commercial and residential real estate projects to register themselves with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) for launching a project.

Meanwhile, the interested participants can register themselves by filling up the registration form, latest by June 29, 2019. The participants are required to bring their institutional ID cards on the day of the Conference.
