One traffic lane of the Railway Over Bridge near MSEB Colony and the Gas Turbine Power Station (GTPS) in Dronagiri will remain closed from August 21 to October 31, 2026, to facilitate urgent structural repair work.
The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has undertaken repairs to the retaining wall (RE wall) and approach slab section of the bridge. The Navi Mumbai Traffic Police has granted the necessary No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the temporary closure of the single lane.
CIDCO has appealed to motorists to cooperate during the repair period and use the designated alternative lane while crossing the bridge.
Motorists have also been advised to drive at a reduced speed and use vehicle blinkers and reflective strips while navigating the diversion to ensure safety and avoid traffic disruptions.
The lane closure will remain in effect until October 31, subject to the completion of the repair work.
