On May 31, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced that the final year college exams had been cancelled in the wake of coronavirus pandemic. After his discussion with the Vice-Chancellors of all colleges across Maharashtra, Thackeray said, "we have decided that students will get aggregate marks based on their performance in the previous semesters for that academic year."
