Fire breaks out as LPG cylinder explodes at a home in Sakinaka

The blast was reported at 9:30 pm and was confined to a house located at the Anand Bhuvan chawl located in the Jarimari area of Sakinaka, Andheri. One resident was declared dead and five others have been injured in the incident.

A level-I fire broke out in Andheri's Sakinaka area after an LPG cylinder exploded in a house claiming one life and injuring five.

The blast was reported at 9:30 pm, in a house located in the chawl at Sakinaka's Anand Bhuvan, Jarimari area.

The fire was extinguished immediately, however, the residents were injured seriously Almas Khan (15) was declared dead on arrival and the other injured identified as Asma Khan (60), Anisa Khan (45), Shifa (16), Sania (14), and Rihan (8) are being treated at Ghatkopar's Rajawadi hospital.
