Mumbai- Post the collapse, BMC will start razing down Behrampada slums with floors from Saturday. However, this decision has created a buzz among the politicians. Out of the 227 wards in BMC, in 90 wards voting from the slum community proves to be a deciding factor. Interestingly, these slum dwellers mostly vote for Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena. So Congress and NCP are against this demolition. However SS is playing safe by keeping mum on the whole matter. It is also being said that, this demolition will hamper vote bank of Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena. Also it is beleived that, as there is no voter base for BJP in these slums, BJP has played a game to hamper the SS votebank.
