Domestic workers protest in Azad Maidan

CST – Several Domestic Workers Union protested in Azad Maidan on Wednesday against State government. The state government founded Kalyan Mandal. Many services which were included in the scheme have been discontinued. Those services are as followed -

Scholarship scheme

Anil Dumde, President Kamgar Association stated that we have written letter entailing our problems to the government but they didn’t pay heed to our problems.

What do Kamgar workers Demand?

Fixed salary under regulation 1948

Safety for the workers at workplace

Routine check-up every six months

Registration of domestic workers every 10 months

Rs 3,000 pension for Domestic workers at the age of 60 years
