A major fire has been reported at a factory near Ulhasnagar. It has been reported that 4 tenders are present at the spot.

A major fire broke out in a clothing manufacturing company in Ulhasnagar on Friday. The ground plus six-storey building have various jeans manufacturing units and the fire took place in basement-based four units. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, the market was closed due to which no one was inside the unit when it caught fire. A fire official said that they received the information at 12.15 pm after which four fire tenders from Ulhasnagar, Kalyan and Ambernath were called to control fire. 

This is the second fire of the day and fifth fire that has been reported in this week. There was a fire reported in the morning at Dadar's clothing market. On Monday, there was a major fire at GST Bhavan in Mazgaon followed by fire at Dombivali's chemical factory in MIDC on Tuesday. On Wednesday, there was a minor fire in Lower Parel's Marathon Futurex building in its basement service lift.
