In recent developments, a fire broke out at a chemical factory in Boisar, a suburb in the MMR region in Maharashtra.

On Saturday, February 13, a broke out in a bulk drug manufacturing company in Tarapur MIDC in Boisar, a suburb in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

According to reports, two workers sustained burns in the fire. Meanwhile, two fire tenders are at the spot in order to douse the fire. However, the cause of the fire is unknown as of now.

In another instance, a 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fire at the Thane Electricity Department office. The fire broke out at the office of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) in Wagle Estate area. However, there were no casualties reported.

During the investigation, it was reportedly found that Rakhunde had tried to rob the office near the MSEDCL centre at midnight. However, he was caught by a guard at the power company's office due to which he got angry and decided to take revenge by setting fire to the office. However, his actions were captured on CCTV. Meanwhile, the Police have arrested him under section 436 of the Indian Penal Code.
