Yet another fire incident has been reported in the city. According to reports, a massive fire broke out at the godown of a complex in Thane's Bhiwandi area, this morning, December 15.

The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) said that four fire tenders rushed to the spot and no one injured in the blaze. However, the fire brigade officials said that the fire destroyed the entire premises.

Officials said that fire erupted around 1.30 am in the godown, located in Jabbar compound of Bhiwandi town. The cause of the fire is still not known.

According to eyewitnesses, some locals rushed to the spot after getting to know about the fire. They also made an attempt to extinguish the blaze, but in vain. They also claimed that firemen arrived at the spot after a delay of about half-an-hour.
