A fire broke out in a building in Mumbai's Ghatkopar area.This caused panic around the place. The fire broke out around 6:00pm. As soon as the news got out, fire fighting vans were rushed to the site. There were four engines and three water tans that were deployed to get the fire in control.
The fire broke out on the fifth floor of Shriji Tower at Rajawadi Road 4 in Ghatkopar. The building is opposite Kakkar Seth building. The building is ground plus 10-floor building and apart from the fire brigade, even ambulance was rushed to the site.
The fire has been doused by now and there have been no causalities reported. The cause of the fire is not known as yet.
