According to reports, a fire broke out in a 15-storey high-rise Worli building on Wednesday, August 26, early morning.
As per civic officials, a blaze of fire was reported at the Sterling Seaface Apartment on Dr Annie Basant Road, located in Worli. Firefighters were brought to the spot immediately and it took three hours to douse the fire completely. At least 10 people trapped in the building were rescued by firefighters. So far, no injuries have been reported.
Soon after the fire broke out, Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray visited the site in order to inspect the situation.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
