Dharavi – Modern cremation facility is made available in Dharavi Hindu crematorium. Old chimney caused loads of pollution which impacted the health of residents.
Inauguration of the chimney was carried out on Tuesday. Present at the inauguration were Corporator Rajendra Suryavanshi, Local Corporator T.M. Jagdish, Corporator Vasant Nakashe, Shakhapramukh Anand Bhosle, Sanitary Inspector Hulchandra Patil.
The installation work was set up two years ago through the funds of BMC. Rs 1 crore 3 lakhs were spent in the construction of modern chimney under the aegis of Corporator Rajendra Suryavanshi.
