The dedicated high-speed freight rail line between New Delhi and JNPT (Uran) is underway in Lodha Palav, Nilje area of Shilphata area. For this work, a subway will be constructed between Lodha Palav and Nilje. Until this work is completed, the railway tunnel between Lodha Palava and Nilje village will be closed for traffic from Friday until the work is completed, Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Vinaykumar Rathod said.
This work will be done within the limits of Kolsewadi Transport Sub Division. The earlier traffic through the railway tunnel will be continued through the Nilje village railway gate. All types of vehicles going to Lodha Heaven from Ghesargaon, Narivali, Vadavali villages will be closed near the Nilje Railway Tunnel. These vehicles will proceed along the road parallel to the Nilje railway line along the road near the railway tunnel and take a left turn to reach the desired destination through the Nilje railway gate.
All types of vehicles going from Lodha Heaven to Ghesargaon, Narivali village, Vadavali village will be closed at Casa Rio complex in Palava area. The transport department has announced that all these vehicles will take a left turn from Kalu Bai Chowk and go to the desired destination via Nilje Railway Gate. This order will remain in force until the work of this subway is completed, said Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rathod.
