The G South ward is one of the most high profile ward in Mumbai and there are offices of many political parties in this ward. Presently, there are seven corporators in G South ward.

However, after the new ward structure of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in 2022, there will be eight corporators in this ward. The G South Ward is spread over the area 10 sq.km and the total population of this ward is nearly 377,749.

Geographical Information

The east border extends to the Central Railway line and the west border extends to the sea. The north border on the other hadn extends up to Kakasaheb Gangil Marg, Kashinath Dhuru Road and the south border extends to Haji Ali, Keshavrao Khade Marg, Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk.
