Borivali- A female leopard named Krishna died in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, on Sunday morning.
Krishna was an 18 year old female. She was old and infected due to which she had boils all over her body. Krishna was under observation and treatment of Dr Shailesh Pethe. Krishna was not having her meals due to ill health. On Saturday, her condition turned critical.
Tiger Project official, Shailesh Devre told Mumbai Live Krishna was brought to Sanjay Gandhi National Park from the Konkan in 1999, when she was just 3 months old. In 2014, Krishna’s partner Raja died. Devre said the post mortem report will be issued on Wednesday, after which the last rites will be held
