Kurar- Commuting from Kurar village to Malad station is going to get easier and better.
Widening of the subway linking the two locations is underway. The redone subway will be 30 metres wide and 4 metres high. The road will become four times wider, pedestrians will get a separate walkway, and there will be special lanes for heavy vehicles. MP Gajanan Kirtikar inaugurated the Rs 26 crore project on Wednesday.
For the time being, residents of Kurar village have to go through narrow subway to reach Malad station.
