The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will repair the inlet valve of the Pali Hill reservoir in Bandra West on November 22 between 1 am and 5 am. Due to this work, some parts of Khar Danda and Bandra will get water at low pressure. The BMC has also advised the citizens to boil and filter drinking water for the next 4-5 days.

“Regular water supply will be resumed immediately after the repairs are completed,” said an official from the BMC’s hydraulic engineering department.

The areas that will be affected during the repair period include Dandpada, Gajdharbandh slum and some parts of Khar West; Kantwadi, Pali Naka, Pali village thana, Shirley, as well as parts of Rajan and Mala villages; Khar Danda Koliwada, Chuim village, additional parts of Gajdharbandh slum and some parts of Khar West; and Hanuman Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Union Park Road No. 1 to 4, and some parts of Pali Hill and Chuim villages.
