On Friday, a Mahanagar Gas Pipeline Damaged in Thane due to the ongoing construction work. The incident took place near the TMC Drainage line Near Vinayak Society. As a result of this incident, the gas supply of many people has been impacted.

According to reports, the gas supply has been halted for three hours and will be resumed soon. The gas pipeline was accidentally damaged by a JCB.
At the time of filing the story, neither Thane Municipal corporation had shared any update on this incident nor Mahanagar Gas Supply. While people have been assured that the supply will start soon but it has caused a huge inconvenience. The incident took place in the evening and many people impacted would have to wait for the supply to resume to cook dinner or will have to resort to eating from outside.
