There is some good news for the people of Mumbai. Mahanagar Gas (MGL) on Thursday has decided to slash the prices of the compressed natural gas (CNG) and domestic piped natural gas (PNG) from tonight (October 4 at 00:00 hours). The step is being taken as the prices of domestically produced gas has gone down.
In a statement, the company has said that, "MGL has reduced its CNG price by ₹2.04 per kg and PNG by ₹1.19 per SCM in and around Mumbai effective from tonight”.
Post the cut, the effective prices inclusive of all taxes of CNG and PNG will be ₹49.95 per kg and ₹30.60 per SCM (Slab 1) and ₹36.20 per SCM (Slab 2) respectively.
