On Tuesday, October 26, Maharashtra administered both doses of the coronavirus vaccine to more than 3 cr citizens. Based on the data accessible on the Co-Win website, as of October 26, 2021, at 5 pm, 3,01,14,345 second doses were administered in the state.

The number of first doses given, on the other hand, were 6,60,78,096. With this, the total vaccination doses are 9,61,92,441. Additionally, 7,856 sites were conducting COVID-19 vaccination of which, 7,190 were those run by the government and 666 were operated in the private sector.

The data on the website also indicated that 5,18,71,132 males and 4,43,02,791 females were inoculated. The information also brought to light that a significant number of vaccinations transpired in the 18-44 age category, this was trailed by the 45-60 and lastly the above 60, category.

In districts in the state, Mumbai is leading the chart with an aggregate of 1,44,68,453, followed by Pune, Thane, Nashik and Nagpur at 1,19,60,207, 80,77,419, 46,32,116 and 43,79,374, respectively.

Moreover, statistics on the website highlighted that on Tuesday, 50,727 vaccination doses were administered in Mumbai, according to the numbers last updated at 6 pm on October 26. The BMC data also brought to light that 293 patients tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.

Looking at the bigger picture, in India, Uttar Pradesh has the highest figures at 12,76,67,079. Maharashtra stood at the second position with 9,62,55,078 vaccination numbers.
