A fire broke out on Sunday morning near the Mankhurd shop. Information from the control room confirms that the Level IV fire broke out in the scrapyard, in the morning.

Around 25 fire tenders were rushed to the spot and no reports of any casualties have been received.

The reason for the fire has been identified yet, but sources say that it might have been due to the short circuit.

In the last few days, fire incidents have been reported from other places in Mumbai. An incident occurred on Saturday in the Rustamji Season building, in Bandra where the fire broke out due to the wood used for construction.
